Phone Link Update Problem

I recently updated the phone link software on my palm via the resent update listed on this and numerious other palm related websites.

I've since tried to connect my phone to my palm and now it doesn't want to work/connect, timing out at the signing in stage. All the settings are unchanged so I don't know what is going on.

Has anybody else experienced this problem?
Does anybody have a solution so I can fix this?

i had that issue and it resolved itself after repairing my devices

My phone isn't bluetooth, therefore the connection between the two is via IR. I know the IR between the palm and phone is working as I can beam contacts/appointments & send/receive SMS. It just wont connect me to the phone GPRS.
