This may sound stupid, and maybe I am going about this in completely the wrong way, but...
I have a small low-res picture on my PC that would be suitable for use as a Palm icon. I want to use IconFX to change the icon of one of my pre-existing Palm apps.
With IconFX I can copy one apps icon and store it in the 'gallery', then open the app I want to change and paste it from the gallery.
My thought was to use the Palm Icon resource tool (from the Palm OS Developer Suite) to capture the graphic from on the PC. Create a 'blank' app that only has my launcher icon. Then use the method above to import, and ultimately change the launcher icon for the target program.
I have successfully captured the image and saved it as a resource. Could someone give me some BASIC- SIMPLE steps to compile this into a PRC file.
If there is a pre-existing program, or an easier way I welcome suggestions.
Thanks
