It was ok when you had the $1 a day ads advertising pda applications, but now some of the ads are getting in the way. Such as, some ads turn random text in to advertisement, and I can't tell if it is a link or an ad. I miss Clie Source, no ads, Clie only, those were the times...

Green underlined links are ads -- the blue text aren't ads. It doesn't annoy me much since I use Page Up/Down on my keyboard or the scrollwheel to navigate so an accidental rollover doesn't happen much

Firefox + AdBlock and filter out a couple of keywords and I don't see the green words anymore. :)

Hmm... They certainly could sligthly strip the site. Like do we really need that "links-bar"... and so on. I mean, there is just way too much stuff on pages. Scares ppl away, like it did me on the first place.
You certainly cant use a PDA to view this PDA site.

Well, the ad block thing works, it is a little better now. But I agree with Demens, the links are annoying too.
You have to see this from the admins point of view here. This site is all free and attracts a lot of visitors. Now, if you were paying your own hard earned money for a free site that does not generate revenue, and with such a large audience, ads are a great solution. Otherwise, this site wouldn't have been kept up this long.
So if you see something interesting, or would just like to help the site out, click on a few links - it won't hurt.

The problem with the "see this from the admins point of view" argument is that when all this advertizing started the admins said if you register, you won't see advertizing. Well, that promise is long gone. Then they asked for contributions, and many of us responded. Then we get more advertizing...

Funny, I have adblock in firefox and still see the adds, however for the longest time I didn't, and worse, its spread to other pages.
