Wow, I just took out my TH55 from my coat, and it was very warm and had a Fatal Reset dialog up!

When I reset it, the battery was down to 10%!

Now, I'm sure these Fatal Alert dialogs should automatically clear after 60s, but the fact that it managed to burn through the TH55's battery in less than an hour scares the heck out of me!!

I really hope this doesn't mean the random battery drain disease my T665 had has spread to my TH55!!!

Did you have it on HOLD?

If it has spread to your TH55, backup your data to a card then do a hard reset while the unit is plugged in and charging, then restore your backup and your battery woes should be fixed. I've had ot do this a couple of times.

I just did a google for "Crash", which I'm running on my TH55.
Isn't it available anymore?

Anyway, Crash will help with that kind of thing by handling the soft reset itself.
I hope your TH is okay. The battery thing shoudn't have hurt it.

Seems to be. The pro version has a few bells & whistles; mainly custom crash screen image creation and improved logging.

EDIT

Tried to acquire the freeware version linked to above - download is Pro version only.

Try here (http://www.freewarepalm.com/utilities/crash.shtml) instead, but probably not up to date. :(

I must've messpelled or something, sorry.

Either way, Crash might help.
