Got my TG50 a week ago and have had lots of fun figuring everything out (my first pda). Most things work as advertised but Sony documentation as always is lacking.
I installed the web browsing s/w on the TG50 but cannot find it in the launcher. Any suggestions on where to find it/configure it?
Is it possible to surf the web or otherwise access the net through the cradle connection?
Finally, there is a clie tutorial file that I cannot find any way to access and am curious if it is worthwile?

I installed the web browsing s/w on the TG50 but cannot find it in the launcher. Any suggestions on where to find it/configure it? If you're referring to NetFront, I've heard reports of the NetFront Icon not showing up if you didn't have 6MBs free at the time of installation. If you're sure it's installed, try a soft reset and the App should show up in the Launcher.
Is it possible to surf the web or otherwise access the net through the cradle connection? At this time it doesn't look like there is a way to browse through the cradle, but why would you want to? It seems awfully strange browsing the web through your PDA when you're sitting at your computer. If what you're after is caching the pages to view them later, there's a thread somewhere on these forums on where to put html files on the MemStick so NetFront can view them later.
Finally, there is a clie tutorial file that I cannot find any way to access and am curious if it is worthwile?I'm not sure what tutorial file you're referring to and you've got me quite curious. Could you please elaborate on this one?

Check out www.Softick.com . There is an app called Softick PPP. It's still in beta, and seems to have a lot of problems. If you search the forums here there is a thread about that. But if you get it working, you can surf from the cradle.
