All I need right now to make my life almost perfect is the driver for my T68is that I can install on my PEG-NZ90. Got the phone working as a modem for my NZ90 and that makes me pretty happy so far. But, I can not use the SMS application on the NZ90 until I have a driver for my phone. Why did they not install at least some drivers for the phones out there that have iRDA and Bluetooth?

Anyway, if someone can help please feel free to contact me.

Better don't use the driver for T68 and T68i from Sony website if not you might have a problem which can be solved by hard reset to surf your net and sending/downloading your emails!!!

Go to the topic t68i SMS on NZ90 (http://www.cliesource.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6569[/url)

You will find the SMS drivers for T68i (and NZ90)

i need help here. I dl the SE T68i drivers onto the NZ90 and did as instructed in the forums. However, the error msg "phone not ready" still persists. Already paired the t68i and the NZ90. Pls advise on solution. Thanx in advance.

Wondering how you got your t68i to surf with BT. I am able to SMS via BT, but everytime I try to connect with the internet, it dials and then stops at "signing on", whereas it "signs on" fine with IR.....go figure, any help would be great.
Thanks.

If the phone is already setup for internet access than browse to main menu to Data Comm. and check for the default connection Name. (i.e. EXPRESS for the T68i) Skip to Step4.

Step1.

On the main menu go the Data comm. ---> then go to Data accounts---> Edit the existing account or Add an Account.

Step2. Fill out the following info for the GPRS on the phone

• Account type: GPRS (this will depend on carrier for the T68i)
• Name:(make one up) example: EXPRESS
• APN: xxx.xxx.xxx (Get this from your provider, usually in the form of a web address like)
• User id: (Get this from your provider, usually in the form of a web address like)
• Password: (Get this from your provider, usually in the form of a web address like)
• Save?: Press yes

Step3. Edit the WAP Profile

• Add Profile
• Name: GPRS (make one up)
• Connect using: EXPRESS (use the name you made above)
• IP Address: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx ( Get this from your provider)
• Save?: Press yes

Step4. Pairing the Clie with the Ericsson T68i:

If you do not have a PEG NZ90 before pairing make sure the phone driver is installed for the phone (http://www.palm.com/uk/mobile/drivers.html and http://www.sonyericsson.com/us/spg.jsp?page=start) and the Clie Blue tooth memory stick driver is installed.

Non Nz model check for driver it will look like this : BT to E.T68

On the Clie

[Home] > [Down Arrow at top right corner] > System > Prefs > [Down Arrow at top right corner] > Bluetooth
Bluetooth : On
Device name : [Put any name to identify the Clie]
Allow device to be discovered: Yes

Step5. On the Phone

Main Menu > Connect > Bluetooth > Paired devices > Add device > Phone accepts

Step6. On the Clie

Trusted Devices then Add Device (the phone name will appear)
[The Palm is searching for Bluetooth devices and the phone driver in use will then be listed in the discovery results window]: Ok

Choose Yes

Step7. On the Phone

Enter the passkey: 1234 (use the provided passkey for phone provider)

Add Palm to paired devices: Yes

Step8. On the Clie

Enter passkey: 1234 (must be the same as the above number)
Ok

Step9. On the Clie

1. Go to System ---> Prefs ---> Connection
2. Make new connection and name it (i.e.. custom)
3. Connect to: Modem
4. Via:Blue Tooth
5. Tap to discover
6. Tap OK once the phone is found.

Step10. On the Clie

Home ----> Prefs--->Network----> Services---->New

Service : (must be the same as the phones Data comm. default connection (i.e.. in step 3 where name is EXPRESS) this is case sensitive
Username: (ask your service provider) this is case sensitive
Password: (ask your service provider) this is case sensitive
Connection: (Pick the custom connection you created in Step9)
Phone: This is your CDN number for the phone and it will look like (i.e.. *9****#) (ask your service provider)
Step11.

1. Tap the Connect button to get connected.

2. On both the phone and the Clie accept all connections.

3. On both the phone and the Clie Enter Username and Password if prompted. The phone should be dialing out to the web and making a connection.

4. Once the phone shows a connection status open Netfront and type in url.
