Anyone else had this problem, where after a crash (can't pinpoint it to anything for now), my LD starts up with its preferences reset, Versamail losing all its email profiles and most annoying of all MOST of my other 3rd party software losing its reg details.
I am then forced to re-register all my software. I thought at first it was Z-Launcher, so I removed that and it happened again tonight so I have also removed Agendus Pro (Started with these because they appear to be very pervasive).
If anyone else has had this problem and can shed any light on which prog is causing it I would appreciate any ideas.
thanks
Tony

I got this problems, sometimes after a reset (which caused by a buggy application) all the categories of the standart launcher is losts, and sometimes registration information.
For now i havent found any solution or reason for this.

Does anyone know how to make the LD stabe, without resets.

to know its possible to run the LD with a crash 3-4 times a day, which I am currently experiencing.
Just have to work out the apps doing it.

I always use BackupMan to backup the last stable state my LD is in. Then I'll install the next software and run that for a least half a day and if all works well, I'll do another backup. I keep up to 4 generation of backup. If the new software badly crash my LD and I lose my preferences, all I need to do is restore Save Preference and ALL my ZLauncher DBs and I'm back to speed. It is a hassle having to key in all your reg codes and reset all your apps pref so this method is very convenient.
Note: After restoring the Saved Preference, never go back to your launcher. Do a Soft Reset from BackupMan screen and you'll be fine.
