Afther two broken devices i have now my 3th al was going fine.
today i thought lets hard reset and load everything from scratch.
I wish i did not :( i hard rest the LD it went of and never on :eek:
Now it's laying dead on my desk.

maybe throw it out the window will help ???

No, of course throwing it out a window wont help.
Did you try turning the power switch back to the locked position, then out out of the locked and back to the on position? I have heard of the lock getting "stuck" and it happened to me once.

(By the way - I had one of the best LifeDrives made I guess, I mean, mine suffered none of the issues discussed, and I had to go out and return it for a new one just to save 100 dollars? I wonder if my new unit will be just as good as the last? :|)

I tried locking and unlocking... no luck.
Can't get the unit powerd on...
problems i had with other units were also hardware related.

Still ithink it's a fine device but i wish i could use it longer than 10 day's :(

After the third one you might consider a pen and paper as your best solution. Living in Las Vegas, I feature the odds of one individual getting 3 bad units is not a bet I would put money on normally. I'll check the board at Caesars and see what the odds are on you and a successful forth unit. I vote for a simular issue.

Yess i did charge it :)
it has now charged all night, but it's still dead.
