Mapping the Rec button to something else

Is there a way to map the Rec button on the left to invoke another application? I don't really use the voice-recording feature of my Clie. Thanks.

If you use McPhling, you can set the button to launch that. Thats what I do, and I find it very handy.

Check out above link. There's something called Flex button. I presume it allows remapping, but have not really tried it yet.

Flexbutton is pretty good cos you can map your TG50's hardkeys to run some app. And I believe it's one of the few that can map most of the unique keys found on the TG50.
