record movie with th55

Hi, I have a question about the th 55... you can make pictures with the th 55 but can you also record movies? cause I read a sentence in this forum about a movie player ore something else ----> 160x112 movies taken with TH55 camera display a series of lines across the video
Please send me a sample. 160x112 works fine on my TH55. No promises if it will get fixed AND 160x112 videos taken with the TH55's camera show the seeking "cursor" properly http://www.1src.com/forums/showthread.php?t=86730&highlight=camera

Yep. The TH55 has camera hardware functionally similar to that of the UX50. Have a look here (http://www.sonyclie.org/).

I copied the movie player from the ux50 over to my th55, and it works great. There are a couple of differences, though, such as you only get 2x zoom vs. 3x zoom. I don't think bitrate is as high, but video turns out just about as well IMHO (you know, for a handheld video device!)

I've taken my th55 on the ShockWave with my kids at Six Flags. . . :D

I tried to upload a short video clip, but won't accept the file type.

If you change the file type from .MQV to .mov it should be recognized as a QuickTime.

Attention when using the UX55 Rom File on the European Th55 with built in Bluetooth: it does not work anymore after installing...(the movie record works...)

I use my Movie app from my NZ90 on the TH55 and it works fine.

Sorry... what doesn't work? Movie record works fine on my /E. BT also works.

The Bluetooth function is disabled. When trying it, my TH 55 shuts down.
After deleting the UX50-Movie-Rom-Files from the TH55, all works fine again...

Weird. No problems with my setup. :(

The obvious problem is that Sticki has something installed on device that conflicts with the UX50 Movie Recorder. Try backing up, hard resetting and trying the Movie Recorder. You should get different results.

As for differences salesrep, you forgot about the Effects. I think Solorize and Neg. Art doesn't work on the TH55, due to libraries that are required.

yea if u download the movie recorder from leggnet
