I am just wondering how NZ90 owners access apps on the fly. Maybe you're in the car and need a phone number, or in a restaurant and want to be discreet. I have an NZ90 and I want to be more productive with it on the fly.
I just looked at the TG50 at Fry's and although it is a nice unit, it's also really easy to flip it out and look at something and then put it away. But the tradeoff in getting one over the NZ would be to not have a camera and to have a WAY smaller screen. Any good advice on how to get more from my CLIE on the road? (besides getting a TG50 ;) )
Thanks.

You could reassign some of your favorite apps to one of the hard buttons.

Why would a TG be any better? Especially with the micro screen?!!! Don't be ashamed of your NZ, whip it out, baby!!!! :)
It's been my experience that the people who aren't PDA oriented won't care anyway, and the ones who know what it is will be geeked about it... It's just the NX owners who are a bit miffed....:D
If it's really a speed issue, the Clie launcher is nice with it's assigned buttons . I don't use them cuz I keep almost all my apps on stick (plus I like a picture background!).
Larry's hard button mapping is an excellent idea as well. Sometimes I pre-open an app before I need to so that when I turn it on, I'm already there...
Most of the Info is alrady hard mapped. phone, to do, notes, dates.
I was concered about flipping it out at first, but people simply do not care, and once you are done admiring the flip-rotate action, you will actually behave like this is something everybody do all the time... get used to it. (smile)

1 Button Pro (see PalmGear.com) says you can assign up to 9 apps to each of the four hard buttons. You can scroll thru list/select using JogDial.
Trying to decide if I'll use instead of LauncherX. Now that I'm using PowerRun, I don't need LX's ability to create stub file when I move an app to ms.
Bad thing is 1 Button Pro is $20.
