Hi,
I've got the T-3 and a T-Mobile account for Hot Spots. I thought I could log on with the Palm WiFi card but no luck at Borders. My laptop has now problem and I can get on my home WiFi network with no problem. Is it WebPro? Anyone ever use a HotSpot?

I travel to the US from AUstralia regularly and use a T-mobile account to surf with both my T3+card or my laptop no problem. I have a home network and regularly use the hotel networks. I don't think I have ever had a problem. Do you have the latest webpro version?

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. I believe I have the latest version of WebPro, 3.01. The Tungsten T-3 with the PalmOne WiFi card locates the T-Mobile HotSpot at Borders with no difficulty. WebPro launches and displays the T-Mobile login page. I input my name & password and tap "login". The page refreshes and says there is an error and to log in again, etc. My note book, sitting right next to the Tungsten, logs on to the HotSpot with no problem. Oh, and I did turn off the "use proxy server" preference.
So, you can log on? I think the later Tungstens can also log on, might just be a T3 problem.
Thanks,
Bob

Me again,
In New Jersey I used the T-Mobile HotSpot at Starbucks with no problem (except my battery ran down). The T3 with WiFi card found the network and I was able to logon. At Borders in Hawaii I would get that far but the logon page wouldn't accept my name and password. Strange, maybe it was Borders?
