hotsync messed up

damn **** ive been havin probs with this nr70u/v, today i was gonna hotsyn and the hotsync button didnt work, so i pressed couple of time till it launched the hotsync prog but instead it said something like"to connect by modem enter phone number to dial" something close to dat, but i never chose modem, i have it on local. and when i press the hotsync button on the prog it says connecting but it never connects, msimport works but the hotsync doesnt plz help.(i hard reset the ****, still wont work) thank u

Uninstall and reinstall palm desktop, thats all I can think of. Also, try posting in the nr forum, maybe others have had this problem with their nr's and they mught know what to look for.
