I just got my T5 back from PalmOne (a day early even - although that's because DHL/Airborne delivered it too early), and as expected, it's a refurb. The screen still had sticky stuff left over a screen protector. Other than that, it's cosmetically OK.
I personally hate this refurb crap. My device was less than 2 months old. They sent me a device which I'm assuming was a first run because it still had the old ROM (and a much older serial number, if those things are assigned sequentially). I'm currently in the process of restoring stuff, hoping to get it back up to speed by this afternoon (work schedule permitting), but I'm still not too happy about getting a device that was 2 months old replaced with one that is 8+ months old.
