View Full Version : Grafitti2 "move cursor left"?

Is there an equivalent function in Grafitti2 to the grafitti1 "move cursor left"?
I know I can move the cursor left like a backspace but this will delete any text present.
I'm currently trialing Tealscript to get round this but thought I'd ask the question.
While I'm here what about the lost "drag & drop" functionality in the calendar week view.
PS say they dropped this undocumented function Jun 2004
http://kb.palmone.com/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE/,/?St=73,E=0000000000071129579,K=1844,Sxi=7,useTemplate=Case.tem,CASE=9817
and having just upgraded I really miss it.
Anyone found a quick workaround?
Thanks

Lift stylus, move hand to left, position stylus where you want to be. I have not heard of a workaround, sorry.

You witty thing you :D :)
>Symbo,
Yes alas that command was lost in the change from G1 to G2. It is annoying to lose that feature for when trying to get that cursor to be at the very edge of the screen and to th end of a line of characters sometimes isn't it...?
However you can regain the "drag & drop" functionality in the calendar week view, by getting a copy of Pimlico Softwares excellent 'Datebk5' which allows that and many more other useful features - here's a link to where you can download it to try it out :

..and should it meet your needs ,the price of registering it is further made worthwhile by the fact that profits all go to a wildlife project as you can see on the website.
Hope that helps.

Thank you people.
I'll give Datebk5 a go.

This is what the d-pad is for.

So it is.
I've just upgraded from the original Zire to a TE2 so excuse my inability to use the hardware.
Thankyou.

No problem. Frankly, it was a revelation for me as well when someone else pointed that out to me.

Annoyingly, the Left and Right buttons on a TH55 do not actually act as Left and Right, but rather PgUp/Dn!!
