Backlight turns itself off

The backlight on my n760 just decides to turn itself off every now and then.
Has anyone else had/have this problem???
i am about to retire the n760 but until then i'd like to fix this problem.

Are you sure you don't have the option for the pen to turn the backlight on or off by swiping it from bottom to top? If you don't know, try this: take your stylus and swipe it from the grafitti area to the top of the screen, it will either turn off the backlight (or on) or it will bring up grafitti help or a number of other things. If it turns off or on the backlight: go into preferences then into buttons, hit the button labeled "pen.." at the bottom of the screen, you can choose which task you want it to do. Sorry if you already knew this, but thats all I can think of.
