Yesterday in the afternoon I have charge my palm.
Before to put it in my bag I turn it a moment, the battery marks 100%.
I block the key of power on OFF.
Then I put it in my bag and I put it in my jacket very protect from accidental press.
Five minuts ago I go to relight it... nothing... I check encore... nothing... I have thought to a some "error" software, and I press the key of reset, it's turn on... load for many moments and give me the "page" to insert the password code, I make in order to press is extinguished!
In this moment I have put it to charge and in effects it is loading like if the battery it were completely discharge.
As it is possible?
Many thanks.

Most likely scenario: a background application crashed, causing a soft reset and waiting for you to confirm the error message... simplest solution: get Crash or CrashPro

@Kelanth, did you have the Lock on? I have found that it is possible to accidentally start the LD when it is in the free PalmOne case as it is very tight (it activate the 5-way navigation) and this can cause constant HDD access which can cause the battery to be drained.

@Kelanth, if you apply the lock too quickly after switching off first the lock does not always work! I wait 2/3 seconds after I switch off before moving the switch to Lock. The HDD seems to need a few seconds to save data.

In effect I have lock quickly after switching off!

I had something similar happen a few days ago, when I tucked away a 100% recharged Lifedrive and tried to turn it on later to find it out of juice. The only thing I can think of is that I had left Bluetooth and Wifi both on. Since then I've left them off unless I've needed them. I have not attempted to reproduce the problem.

...is that an alarm application (e.g. calendar) wants to alarm you, in very few cases it does not go off and the HD continues spinning.
And I had problems with my Zire 72 when I turned on quick unlock or (and?) automatic unlock. It sucked out the last drop of power from Z72's battery.
But of course I'm not sure whether this is possible with a LD or not.

Anyway, good luck with your LD
