Also where can I find it?

The ones I found on palmgaer say they dont support Os 5 yet, or am I missing something?

Thanks

They don't work with OS 5 yet. There is one for OS 5 called "memhack" that was freeware, but then the author got mad because no one donated to him, so he made it shareware. The new PowerRun 1.2B2 works with OS 5, and the newer launchers handle MS stuff pretty well.

PiDirect II, does not work in OS5 and PiTech says they have no intention of upgrading it.

I will repeat, PiDirect does NOT work with OS5 or the NX! If it did, I would be using it, since I had paid for it. The ones claiming that PiDirect works are NOT using an NX or OS5, but the NR which uses OS4.1 as I still have my NR70.

I hope this clears up the matter about PiDirect II, with MS Mount, your on your own. :);)

PowerRun 1.2.b2 does work flawlessly.
I have been using it for 2 months now, with no problem at all.

PowerRun was one of the first programs I purchased for my NX, and then I decided on Zlauncher after trying out all the launchers available. I read a couple of statements in various threads that made me think I didn't need PowerRun since I was using Zlauncher. However, I am happy with the way it's working right now, so they both stay.

Can zlauncher do what powerrun can do? Any reason to get both?

What about Yishow?

What about Yishow?

All I use is ZLauncher, but there are others like YiShow and LauncherX. PiDirect is a different animal in that it could fool the PDA into thinking that it had more RAM than it really did. It also made apps load much faster from the memory stick and I sorely miss it! The one drawback was only being able to store read-only databases in the PiDirect folder. PiDirect is unique from the others. Some swear by it and some swear at it. All the other launchers load the app into RAM and then delete it when it's done.

No I have never used Power Run or MS Mount.

Ha gotcha.:D

Sorry, it was my mistake, I didn't notice it was a NX thread just a question about TV Schedules. On a NX, I think powerrun is your only possible option. I don't use powerrun, so I'm no help there.

Many of the older Palm apps cannot store their databases on the stick. An example of this is Kyle's Quest and the various level files.

If one uses zLauncher, the Kyle's Quest app can be stored on the stick, but the levels cannot. PowerRUN will let you store both on the stick.

For newer apps (like TealDoc) that are VFS-aware, one doesn't need PowerRUN, you can get by with just zLauncher.

Does anyone know definitively how to keep a hotsync conduit working with an app that is on the memory stick? Is it possible?

Yes, some launchers like LauncherX allow a shortcut to be created and will allow  the HotSync. I have never tired it myself, but I have seen enough chatter about it. I hope this helps!
