I recently dug my Ambicom CF56M-EZ modem as I now need it again for my NX73.
I have had it working in the past with Pelaca's driver, but this was some dozen hard resets ago. I hotsynced the drivers in again and tried to setup a connection, but it's no-go.
I can create a new connection with the analog modem and reference my network connection to use it. But when I hit the connect button it goes through the motions but will not connect. It'll endlessly retry. The phone cord is known good.
Using Media Info, the CF modem is listed, but it says the driver isn't available.
I'm using the generic driver which worked in the past. Did my modem go TU or am I just missing something?
The files I installed are from Pelaca's v1.0.8 set:
CFmodeminf_generic.prc
CFmodemvdrv_generic.prc
