For those of you with Memory Stick-equiped Fujitsu laptops...

Fujitsu has no plans to provide updates to make their existing memory stick slots compatible with Memory Stick Pro.  From the email I received from them:

"I have checked with our Engineering Division and there are no current plans to upgrade to Memory Stick Pro."

This things happens...sometimes tha hardware architechure limit the MS slot to be non-upgradable....

I have a Sony 505-RX, 3+ years old laptop, one of the first to have MS slot...they ship with win98...then i upgrade to win2k, they can't make my MS work, since the dirver is not compatable....

My advice is....Live with it, man

My advice is....Live with it, man I'm living with it fine.  My post was not to b***h, but to inform anyone thinking about getting a Fujitsu, based partially on its having a MS slot, to consider that fact in their decision.
