UDMH or zDoomz on Lifedrive?

Has anyone had any luck getting either of these programs to work on the Lifedrive? With the small dynamic heap they gave the LD it can't run the z apps w/o some type of memory manager (UDMH).
(Plus running off the HD, I wonder how bad the battery life will be)
That's been a big negative for me so far in owning it, big stuff has to be run off the HD and that kills the battery life of it.

Not the perfect boards for this but the zDoomz site boards are downs right now.

Not for sure but I did see where a couple had tried UDMH without much luck since the HD config is different than normal. Hopefully Dimitry can find a way cause I'd like to be able to play zHexen on my LD too.
