I noticed that Sonystyle Hong Kong site name the TG as TG50/H.
Any idea what the /H mean?
Is there any differences with the US model in terms of features, bundled software, accessories, etc.?
And I believe HK model TG50/H also use English Palm OS instead of Chinese version?
Anyone who bought their TG in Hong Kong?

i think the /H just indicate that it is in HK
and all the thing in the box and the OS is some as in USA
but there are some gift from sony HK when u buy it
i've just bought the TG50/H several days ago. it is english version also. during the pre-order period (about 10 days before the delivery) there is a bonus pack: chos (add-on chinese system), chinese handwriting recognize program and one 64 M MS.
the price is HKD 3280.

afon,
are you saying that the CHOS allows you to write chinese character on the English OS? That's nice! (I'm learning chinese, by the way)
I plan to ask a colleague from HK to bring me a TG50/H..and I wonder if the warranty is worldwide or only for HK...
Thanks.

i think u do not need to buy it in HK for the CHOS......
because except CHOS, there are many software allow u to write or read chinese character in your PDA, also many of them may buy in the internet e.g. CJKOS
u can buy it in your own country

yeah, the TG50/H comes with a free CHOS and penpower hand-writing recognition program (full screen)
(see http://www.penpower.com.hk)
may i remind u that once u press the button, the whole OS will be changed into chinese interface, and it is under that full chinese interface that u are able to view, edit and type chinese
so... u might really wanna take that into consideration
but for the best chinese patch of palm OS5, i'd suggest CJKOS, i think they have nicer fonts...... and they support input and display of japanese and korean, too (which is VITAL for me)

one more thing to add, the TG50/H comes with a 220V adaptor (not 100% sure if it can be switched automatically)

Huh? I thought TG50 comes with dual voltage adapter (110-240V)??
As I know, the newest CJKOS is 4.27 that dosen't support os 5.0. I'm told that there is a beta ver that supports 5.0 but it's localization (TG) is perfect?
BTW, the TG's AC adapter is 110v~240v.
