I seemed to have lost the CD that came with my Tungsten E, and I need the files that are on it. Now, usually the manufacturer has them on the website, but not Palm. Anyone know where I can get everything that the CD has on it? Thank you!

You may download Palm Desktop from their website. Check the support area. If you need the other files or third party apps, you must telephone PalmOne and have your serial number and credit card handy.

Here you go: Download the thirp party app here:
RealOne:http://www.real.com/realmobile/palmone.html
Acrobat Reader:http://www.freewarepalm.com/utilities/acrobatreaderforpalmos.shtml
Docs to Go: www.dataviz.com
Kinoma: http://www.freewarepalm.com/graphics/kinomaplayer.shtml
You will need to download quicktime too
Just try..some of these software will be just demo versions....Let me know if you need more guidance

Palm cannot put third party downloads on its site or provide them free of charge. Read the EULA that came with your handheld; also read the rules for this forum. I've noticed there are a lot of requests for CDs lately, more so than usual...

So am I barking up the wrong tree if I still want to find a few answers for this PDA?

I am in the same boat of missing the CD and wanting to view pictures and play mp3s. I DL'd the Kinoma player but wants me to register from the PDA when it can't be connected to the internet. The realone player has been a pain to DL and even after upgrading my account I still can't seem to DL it.

Any news or help will be appreciated. All I want is to view pictures and/or listen to music.

Thanks

I won't do all the research for you but TCPMP will play MP3 (one codex is not included but searching will allow you to find it!) One good part about TCPMP you can find the mp3 folder anywhere and while playing the album from a CD you can view the album cover.

Maybe you are dissatisfied with the photo viewer? Comix is a comic book viewer that allows you to see comics in their particular Jpeg version. I use PSP for some mp3 and windows format music. They also include a photoviewer and Wifi browser in the slim and 3000 version of PSP.

The Konoma website, just below the download link, has off-line/ not on-line registration procedure with clear and easy to follow step by step instructions.
