I couldn't imagine how you would feel if you trip and fall down.

I think that I would cry more from the thought of breaking my NZ then the actual falling part!

I carry mine in my front pocket, you would think that I would learn. I broke my NR70v when I slipped on ICE, I also broke my foot at the same time.

I usually carry it inside my jacket when outside. Now in summer I will probably start carrying it my jeans. Back packet while walking, front packet when in meeting or sitting down :)
As for the sliping part, BE CAREFUL :)

Well, I'd like to be carrying mine in a lovely Vaja case.
Right now I'm using something called 'The Pouch'. Found the like on 'The Gadeteer' website.
It'll do for now. I also have a mesh Sony case but I'm switching as of today.
Still waiting patiently for Vaja to come up with something.

So, the people who carry it in your pocket-wear some big jeans huh? I wear fairly baggy pants and you can see the bulge from my NX. Wonder how "happy" I would look wit an NZ in my pocket :D

Tamrac Digital Camera case with belt or strap option. Room for several sticks, headphones, and LAN card. 25.oo USD. Looks a little geeky, but people who think at all, (rare) think you're carrying ...a camera. (not your new best battery powered friend in the whole world with a camera)

I carry mine in a generic Targus case--which is then thrown in my purse.
Hopefully someone will come out with a nicer case that fits better.

I carry mine in a size-like sansonite camera case with belt strap.
Looks as there is a small camera inside, but after all, it is also a camera.
I am also in the long named waiting list for an adequate case for this machine.
Pocket is no good for me, as I don't think it protects enough and also it is never as clean as a decent case.

Targus case I bought for my NX. NZ still fits w/o velcro. Waiting for a good beltclip(removable) case as well; though I wear cargo shorts almost exclusively in the summer. Side pockets are good for "large" items! ;)

I carry mine in my scrub pants pocket when at work. The rest of the time in my purse, unless I have pants with cargo pockets. I just got the new PDAir case from Brando.com today. http://shop.brando.com.hk/ (I am really glad, because the color is coming off the upper corners from taking it in and out of my pocket all the time.) It has memory stick pockets, and another pocket that the spare battery will fit in. It is pretty nice, but I would rather have the snap closure. I am waiting for Convertec to come out with theirs.

I found a Gameboy Advance case at a mall video game store. It has a semi-hard front and can be attached to your belt - $8 It has room for the NZ on one side and my headphones/spare battery on the other. It will do until my extreme limit case comes.

I carry mine in an 'Extreme Limits' cover (built for the NZ-90) and ordered from Japan ... http://www.extreme-limit.co.jp/english/mobilepc/clie_peg-nz90.htm
Excellent piece of kit. Maybe not quite the same as a VAJA but hey, this is HERE NOW! No scratches, dents, etc.
I carry it all in my backpack, which is a specialy designed motorcycle backpack (has a built-in back protector and expandable pocket for the helmet) ... as a motorcyclist I don't go far without it! Goes with the mobile phone and wallet.
Nick
Use a old Iomega Peerless case, it is a perfect fit.
(and it protects the Clie in the backpack on my bike as well, would not want to go anywhere in Los Angeles on anything but my motorbike.)

i just put that in my pocket of my coat. still waiting to see any better alternatives available...
anyone bought the two official case/bag from sony? (i.e. PEGA-CA100 & PEGA-CA61) they dun look appealing to me though...
Not appealing.... might be the understatement of the century. I am always wondering how come Sony keep knocking out such out of this world hardware and such horrible cases for it.. maybe they ought to rotate the designers now and then.

It true that the designer for the cases should change. If not it will follow the palm inc. footstep.

tell ya what, i was dumb enough to have bought a carrying bag (for my P-9 DC) and a case (for my N760) along with the order of the gadgets before....guess i was just "instant blind" or just got blind by the BIG SONY tag on it....*sigh*

The case for your P9 DC and N760 is not as bad as the one for NZ.

I have mine on my desk... or when traveling in the office... my back pocket (until I sit down) .... OUtside I have it in an inner-pocket of my leather coat.
For those who may not wish to wait for vaja, and like the idea of having a belt clip.... you may wish to check out:
http://www.grindergear.com/basecamp.html
more of a very 'casual' look/approach to a PDA Holder. A buddy of mine here at work got the BaseCamp and the NZ fits in it just fine. He was concerned based on the specs, but it fits in there, and he can put other 'stuff' in there with him. Even though the NZ doesn't show up on the compatibility list .... he has shown it to me ... and sure enough the NZ fits inside of it just fine.
It does have a bit of padding in it as well.... for those times when one might accidently drop it.
Oh... it also comes with a belt clip .... I may get myself one of these.. for my NZ until such time as vaja gets theirs ready for the NZ. Something is better than nothing.

A Grinder Gear Basecamp holds the NZ, WiFi card, Ambicom modem, spare stylus and a spare cell phone battery. The PEGA-BC10 stays in my briefcase.

How about on depth on that case? It seemed to be a bit short for the camera part of the NZ.

I have a PDA Case that works wonderful for the NZ90. It is a Copilot 40 PDA Slip Case. I purchased it a Mobileplanet about 6 months ago. I tried to find a web page but they discontinued it. You may be able to find one on the web.
It has a belt clip that is removeable and has a velcro flap that covers the top.
They do have a Copilot 30 Slip Case that is slightly smaller that still may work.:D
