I've got the Eruware CF hack, and I was wondering if anyone is using that (or Eruware's decendents) in conjunction with the Sony Memory Stick Duo Adapter for Compact Flash Slot, MSAC-MCF1N:

It sure would be nice to just standardize on memory sticks (duo).

Why would you do that? The adapter is $50! The memory stick duo adapter is much less than that. Sure it would be cool, but it would be a waste of money.

I know its a waste of $$ but I want to standardize on memory stick media. My next computer will be a Vaio, and my camera is a Sony too.

Follow on question, which memory stick media to buy for MP3? Do I avoid the Magic Gate crap?

What? A $50 Duo adapter? You've got to be kidding. I think the Duo adapters that Sony sells are about $10. Why the hell would you want to use a CF adapter when the Clie will accept MS natively? Plus you're totally blowing $40 over the adapter that Sony makes. The Vaio should also accept the MS without an adapter. Dude, that's a total waste. Not to mention you wasted money buying the CF drivers. You can get them free from this forum....

Yes, avaoid MagicGate at all costs. It's stupid, plus a waste of money since they are usually $10 more than just a plain MS.
