What's making my LD Crash?

[LD Crashed]

When I tried to start Agendus Pro today, my LD Crashed. Black screen, then soft reset. I had done nothing differently today since the last time I used Agendus, other than a regular hotsync to backup data.

It says

A reset was caused while running Agendus Pro

MemoryMgr.c,
Line:2818, MemMove to
NULL

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Agendus, but the same thing happened after reinstalling and starting up the program.

Any thoughts?

Specifically, I can see the msg "Starting Contacts" when starting Agendus and then it crashes; maybe that's causing it somehow but I don't know why...

did you start with a fresh profile in other words a blank backup folder cause certain apps can conflict with other and there not compatabile with the livedrive

I experienced the same error message but using versamail. After setup and a (rather big) sync - I briefly see the mails and then ... crash.

PalmOne usually says such errors are related to RAM shortage - but that would be really poor memeory management if it cannot hold some mails ..

... I haven't updated from a previous handheld (LD is my very 1st :-)), so the fresh profile doesn't seem to apply to me.
I also don't use AIM.
And VersaMail works fine with my other maill accounts - just this one (my major one :-( - crashes on me.

Any idea?

The memory management problem is almost certainly due to the unique way the LD uses a hard drive as memory. Palm did not do enough homework before bringing out the LD on this issue. Supposedly, there is a ROM upgrade in the works, and I'm sure it's got to be aimed at this issue. At least half of the crashes I have are due to memory management issues.
