I just got myself a PSP and I'm looking for the kind of support I used to get at 1src when I had my Clie... if only there were a PSP forum here! How can it be 1src if it doesn't cover PSP?
Anyway, point is I want a good discussion forum. Any recommendations?
Also, for PSP owners out there - I got my PSP used, so it didn't come with much. Is there an installation disk that comes with it? If so, is there a download somewhere that I should get?
Thanks.

No problem, he are a couple of sites i visit daily and I think are very helpful for any PSP owner.
Great site and forums:
www.psp411.com
They have reviews, news, game saves, and great forums.
Gamespot forums for the PSP:
http://forums.gamespot.com/gamespot/show_topics.php?board=909100112
The members there are nice, for the most part, and help you out a lot.
Gamespot PSP Union forums:
http://forums.gamespot.com/gamespot/show_topics.php?board=909105572
The message board for the PSP Union at Gamespot, very informative and a good community of members.
PSP Hacker:
http://www.psphacker.com/
They have a great website for all new homebrew and emulators that I use frequently, and also news. Oh yeh, and they have pretty good forums too.
There is a quick list of some good sites, hope it helps.
You also said you need the disk that came with the PSP, well there isn't a disk that comes with the PSP, but there are many tutorials on the web that explain say how to get videos, music, and photos on the PSP. And imageconverter works with the PSP too. If you didn't get a manual with the PSP, i'll search for one that that they had on the internet a little while ago, and update later.
Hope that helps, and if you have any more questions, send me a message, or leave a comment.

Thanks Mastershake - just what I was looking for. I found Gamespot earlier, but the s/n ratio was a little low there, it seemed. I think PSP411 is going to be my site of choice for most things.
I like PSPhacker, but unfortunately for now everything there is only for PSPs with the 1.0 firmware.
I don't really need the manual - I think I'm fine without it at least for now, and I'm sure I can find it online if I need to later. I was just concerned that there might have been some sort of utilities disk that I didn't get, which doesn't seem to be the case.
I don't visit 1src very much any more - mostly because of these violative ad words that they throw on my comments. Anyone looking for me can find me at PSP411.

Only get it if it's really cheap.
The PSP is a cool console but there are almost no good games for it, and they ain't cheap either.
I've got 5, but the only one I actually play much is Lumines :(

I'm just not sure.
If I do it'll be the excuse for getting a 1GB MS I've been looking for.
Hmmm, transfers between my TH55 and a PSP...

I actually really love the Sony site, (www.us.playstation.com) maybe because i have like 1000 posts? :P Name over there is RushMeAt. The forums are FILLED with people, and because of that theres lots of flaming over double posts of news, ect, but its a good place and has users posting 24/7

Just enough time to settle in before the release of that cool homebrew stuff.

Yea, that homebrew process is now out, you can find out how to do it over at psphacker.com to hack a 1.5 psp. You need two memory sticks to do it. Also, those of you who haven't gone out to buy your PSPs, they started shipping the 1.51 PSPs, and they'll probably find a way to get over this homebrew thing with 1.52. So get your PSP now!

Noooooo,I refuse to buy one, it's not Mt Everest tested, nor would it make the journey. Someday I'll probaly go there, so this is important to me. :p Some poor sap on Slashdot was ticked off, because the night before 1.5 swap trick was announced, his wife accidently knocked his PSP off their table and the screen shattered. He was peeved, because that was the only reason he bought one. :)
I'll look into one when they have better games and the price drops for cheapskates like me.
