apps that slow down your PALM

I had to do a hard reset after quite a long time and was amazed how fast everything ran before I did my data restore hotsync.

It made me wonder what kind of apps slow down your palm that much. I mean the built in apps right after hard reset load instantly. When I tap on hotsync icon after I got all my stuff back on, it takes a second. Is it the built in launcher that runs that fast? I am using zlauncher and sometimes hilauncher (no difference in speed).

What kind of apps might slow down the unit? BToggle? Or the DAs? Thanx for the tips.

maybe all kind of little apps like DAs, hacks which does run on system or background. however i just recommend that you try avoid all kind of trash and install only the best softwares what you really use and look only the most popular softwares...

i hear if you have low user RAM left, you may suffer a performance hit. Else, it's usually hacks.

Generally, DAs do NOT slow things down. A DA launcher might, but there is only one launcher, and many DAs, typically.
