How to convert movies to Kinoma in Mac OS X
If anybody needs help with this, I have found out how. This is how to rip a DVD to your Mac OS X computer and convert it to Kinoma .mp4.

1. You will need MacTheRipper, get it at http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/22715

2. In MacTheRipper, choose a Save Location

3. Insert the DVD, and MacTheRipper will tell you if you need to use a RCE Region, if it does, put it on RCE 1.

4. Click GO!

5. After it has been ripped, download ffmpegx at http://homepage.mac.com/major4/download.html

6. Install the binaries from the websites specified

7. Open the VIDEO_TS and set the Target format to XviD mencoder.

8. After it is finished, delete the VIDEO_TS folder. Open the file just created in ffmpegx and set the Target format to .mov mpeg-4

9. After it is finished, delete the .avi file created before and open the .mov file in Kinoma Producer.

10. In Kinoma set the brand to your PDAs brand and model to the model.

11. Click Convert Files

12. When it is finished converting the movie, put the .mp4 in the /PALM/PROGRAMS/KINOMA/ on your Memory Stick or SD.

13. To play without freezing, you will need to overclock Kinoma. I use PXAClocker at http://www.hexview.com/pxaclocker/download.html

The next step is needed if your PDA is 250 mhz or less.

14. In PXAClocker, under Kinoma, set the mem. to 118, sys. M*2, and Turbo Sys 1.0. It should say CPU Clock 236 MHz. Click Ok.

15. Play your Movie!
