Does anyone know any utility can emulate hardware button on handwrite input area?
I think it's useful when playing some games on TH55. :)

Nobody reply.
I guest there is no such software.
Maybe nobody (expcept me) needs virtual hardware button on handwrite input area for game playing. :)

Sorry, maybe I didn't say what I need precisely.
I try again.

As we know, the hardware button layout make Th55 not suitable for game playing.
So, I think if we could create virtual hardware buttons on handwrite input area and
its layout is like the gamepad. That means there are UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, Button A and Button B icons on the area. And we just push these virtual buttons with our fingers to play games. I hope you understand what I mean. :)
So, what I need is a virtual gamepad on handwrite input area.

Just get yourself a PEGA-GC10 (http://search.ebay.com/pega-gc10_W0QQfkrZ1QQfromZR8QQsatitleZpega-gc10) and enjoy the 320x480 screen or 480x320 via Landscape (http://www.mobile-stream.com/landscape_info.html) instead with the tiny 320x320 screen.

Thanks for your advice, DanT. :)
Right, external Game controller is best choice for game playing.

My idea is to let us to play games in case the accessory is not available.

BTW, as I know GC-10 seems not to be designed for TH55, originally.
So, I wonder if GC-10 can station on TH55 firmly?
And, even they can be connected firmly,
I think gc-10 will mask handwriting input area of TH55, right?
If so, how can it support the games in 480x320?
and I don't have idea that how GC-10 supports games in landscape mode.

GC-10 users, please share your experience. Thanks :)

Digitizers cannot sense multiple simultaneous presses, if you touch two sides of the screen, it ends up in the middle. So a game pad on the silk screen isn't such a hot idea. I mean, a virtual D-Pad would work "ok" but you would have to be very careful not to try and touch two areas of the screen.

You're right. I forgot digitizer issue.
I got this idea from some flash game for Clie.
They use bottom area of screen as controller buttons.
But there are only two virtual buttons, LEFT and RIGHT.
In most case, we would push LEFT and RIGHT simultaneously.
So, those flash games work great in such way.

As you said, full-function game controller can be done in this way.
Thanks for your remind. Robyr. :)

Have you opened the link I gave you and seen what GC-10 looks like?

It has HotSync connector so any Clie (T-series and newer models) with 20 pinout connectors should work.

OK here is a picture of GC-10:

Yes, I've already check the link you gave.
Sorry for my poor english.

What I care is not the cable connection between them.
What I care is how the body of GC-10 and the body of TH55 are connected.
You know what I mean?

Look at the back side of GC-10, it have a mechanism to lock the body of
GC-10 and Clies together( I mean after phiscal connection, they should work as one phiscal device, not two seperate devices linked by cable.). And under such connection, I wonder the body of GC-10 will mask part of the screen of TH55 ( an issue to 320X480 games ).

And it seems not suitable to play the games in lanscape mode in such way.

I was able to connect the my GC10 to my TH55. you put the controller to cover the whole VG screen or you can just cover the status bar it. The GC10 fits the TH55 but i have not tried it yet because i sent my Th55 to sony.

Thanks for your share, izham.

I download and installed the software from your link.
This virtual gamepad looks cool! :)

I played "Skyforce"&"GTS Racing", it seems not working well on these games.

Thanks, Kosmonoko,
Wish you could get your TH55 back soon.

And, how about the issue of games in landscape mode?

I think you have about 1" engagement up to Status Bar, so it should be sturdy enough. The cable seems to be long enough to stretch as Kosmonoko has pointed out.

If such landscape mode game exist, you may have to play it with GC10 on the right side of TH55 and on a table, unfortunately.

OK, thanks, I decide to buy one. :)

And the silk Gamepad does exist.
Looks cool! but work not so well under my preliminary test.

Oh yeah i also tried laying it out so that in landscape you put the controller on top of the TH55 but it's kinda weird cause your hand might cover the screen also it will be easier to hold if you the cover is closed or removed..
