View Full Version : Another problem & a tip for Wassup 1.4.1

After playing around with Wassup 1.4.1 for the past two weeks, I begin to notice these:

1.  Displaying Appt Ticker on the main screen seems to falsely erode free RAM amount.  In the course of a week, I lost about 800K free RAM.  This loss seems superficial as after a soft reset I magically gained back the loss RAM.  The false display of free RAM amount does not seem to happen if I don't display Appt Ticker.  The reason I associated the false display of free RAM problem to Appt Ticker is because the glitch in remaining time for next Appointment display as mentioned in the other Thread.  I thought the two problems could be related.  Anyone else notice this problem?  If I'm the only one who is having this problem, then I'm probably barking to a wrong tree and need to start searching for the right culprit.

2.  For those who do not have VG and still have problem to make the tiny up and down arrows in the launcher section (at the bottom right corner of the main screen) to respond with a tap, here is a trick that work for me:

Write graffiti of a letter i or a number 1 on the arrows instead of a tap.

DanT,

I'd be very interested in hearing more about #1 above - seems impossible from my point of view - but I've got rose-coloured glasses on...

Contact me directly please.

I'm about to release 1.4.2 which addresses the "next in" bug, plus adds a few new features - one of them being the ability to decide what gets scrolled when you hit you page up/down hard buttons. The default is the displayed day, but there is now an option to scroll the launch pad!

Cheers,
Gavin.

Gavin, great idea! Please check your email.

Anyone else has comment or am I the only one that have this fictitious free RAM erosion problem?
