I have read some of the comments regarding the Netfront 3.1 browser with the Sony Clie. I have been trying to find the download link for Netfront 3.1 but have been unable to do so.
Can anyone help me with this.

You can get a translated version of the VZ90's NetFront 3.1 here:

Alternatively, you could use the TH55's NetFront 3.1.. but I would recommend the VZ90's if at all possible. The reason why is because in the TH55's version, you cannot use the enter key to enter new lines in multi line text boxes unless you press the virtual graffiti button first... VZ90 version works great in this aspect.

thank you for the link. I installed Netfront v 3.1. The new version is faster, however there seem to be some problems with some websites not working properly or displaying properly and also some issues with passwords when you have to sign into to a site.
Yahoo works great but sites meant only for IE v. 6 or better and that cater to PC's have some issues.
Are there any settings to adjust that might improve performance. Also I notice that the magnifier has been replaced with a scroll box.
In any event, thanks and please tell me if there are any issues you can share from your experience as described above.

You might try setting your user agent to an IE6 one and see if that does anything. To do that, pull down the menu (Ctrl+M) and go to Options>NetFront Settings. Use the arrows in the bottom right corner to go to the 4th page. Tap the advanced settings button and then check the Change User-Agent box. You can then change it to whatever you wish. Some people report that certain things start working even if they make a blank User-Agent.. you may have to experiment with it yourself.

The new scroll button essentially does the same thing as the magnifier button... however, the scroll button gives you a better representation of how NetFront is rendering the pages.

There are certain websites that do not display well (those that require IE), but I don't visit such sites often, since I don't even use IE on my desktop computer.
Over all though, it is a pretty good browser I've heard. There is a new alternative browser out there called Picsel Browser. Made by the same people who made Picsel Viewer, it's essentially the same thing with an added web browser. With it, you can browse your web pages just like how you view documents in Picsel Viewer. (Slower than NetFront, but keeps formatting better).
Good luck with it! :)
