View Full Version : Tip for using you pda-camera.

Have you ever had those moments when you have a map in front of you... You would need to take it with you but you cant becouse someone else would need it?
- You come up with idea of taking a picture with you pda-companion.

...Atleast Zire72 users know how this will end: Blurry pictures becouse there is no macro. Camera usually has to be like 40cm away from the target, but from that far, text isnt clear.


So i tested and added a small magnifying lens into my pda hardcase.
EDIT: Oh, i just remembered that the lens i'm using is from a binocular.

As you see, you could even snap pictures of calling-cards and so on... if you find a fitting lens.
I think i'll make a sliding "macro"-lens into the hardcase when i'll find a thinner one.

I did something similar long ago with the Sx1 to photograph the styli for tamspalm. Nevertheless, it is a great idea to post it here. Just use any stock magnifying glass-it better be clean though!
