Remember that Wi-Fi Memory Stick we first heard about a few weeks ago? The U.S. Sony people knew nothing about it, which made me a bit nervous. However, the mystery is now explained: It isn't being made by Sony. Hagiwara Sys-Com is going to release it in a few months. This company is also working on a Bluetooth Memory Stick.

From Ed's article:The bad news is the company says it will only be available for Palm OS 5 devices. This is a bit surprising as it eliminates most of the potential consumers. Most of Sony's Palm OS 5 devices have a slot that allows them to use a CompactFlash Wi-Fi card already. However, the millions of Clies with OS 4 have no option for Wi-Fi.Uh oh, this isn't good news for many that were waiting on this!!!
Seems backwards to me. We can ONLY use the CF slot for WiFi, so if anything I am more likely to spend my money on a serious wopper of a MS card.

When it was first rumored awhile back, it stated that OS4.x devices would be excluded. When others asked questions about it, I had reminded them of that.
I thought it was dumb idea at that time and I still think it a dumb idea now. I probably could do better at Manny, Moe, and Jack's...
