lol, hard question, both are great. but design-wise, i would keep the ux50 because it looks realy nice with the magnesium coating and it has the keyboard. a more "practical" person would keep the th55 jsut because it has a larger screen, longer battery life, wifi and now with landscape its even better.

I've had both and I sold the UX. Seeing all the problems the UX series have had, if you have a good one, keep it. The TH series have generally less problems. So, if you really do want one in the future you'll probably be able to get a good one. Also, if you have the US version of the TH definently keep the UX. You may not use BT now but it is definently handy when paired with a cell phone, syncing wirelessly, and etc... I have and love my TH55/E with bluetooth but than again, I love Bluetooth so I may be biased. Also, a main reason I sold the UX is because I'm getting a treo 650 soon, which has a keyboard and my beloved bluetooth. Consider what's important to you, what you need, what you really use, and sell the one and or get whatever is going to help you become more productive and happy. It should be a little easier considering you already own both of them. Good Luck.

P.S.

If you UX50 is in good condition and you decide to sell that, let me know. I might be interested as my fiance wants to replace her NX80.

Depends on what you need. I say go for TH55. :P

It seemed to be a tough question for you to decide, on one hand you may like the beauty of UX on the other hand the TH may be more practical

I was a owner of both UX50 and TH-55 (w BT) before, yes all sold after using less than 6 months each, now a VZ owner, stupid??

Here is my own opinion not necessarily objective

Look: UX no doubt attractive , TH futuristic, winner: both

Screen: both very crisp, however TH much bigger screen, a lot better readibility outdoor, this is the MAIN reason I sold UX, I don't want my eyes to suffer since I used it a lot outdoor ,TH wins

Conectivity: both wins since BT & Wifi

Weight: TH wins, light to be fitted in the shirt pocket

Data entry: UX wins since there is a keyboard, but VG2 just fine

Convenince: you can operate TH in one hand, just fling the cover & can read books assisted by jog wheel, of course assign the capture button as Mcpiling

One more point, the loss of selling UX may be higher?

I think it's totally subjective, because nobody knows what works best for you.

The four main points for deciding, as I see it, with the most important one being first...

1) the keyboard... do you use it enough to make it's loss noticable? I'd HATE to give up the keyboard. (UX wins)

2) bluetooth... do you need it? Is your TH a US or Euro model? Do you care about BT? (UX wins vs US TH55 - tie for Euro TH55)

3) battery life... is the UX battery good enough to get you through a day, or would you prefer the power of the TH battery? (TH55 clearly wins)

4) screen... personally I like the crispness of the UX screen, but a lot of people find it a tad too small? Is it too small for you? (TH55 wins depending on your eyesight :D )

These are the 4 main differences, so put them in order for yourself and see which device rates higher... I've used both, but bought a UX, because I REALLY like the keyboard, and find I do enough data entry to make it a priority. If I didn't, and didn't need bluetooth, then a TH55/U would have been my choice.
