I played with a lifedrive the other day at the palmone store at newark airport. It was much smaller than I expected, and apps opened quickly, I am glad I got to use one in person. I read on a review site that they couldn't pair the lifedrive with the treo 650, is this true?? I want a lifedrive, but if it won't work with my 650 I don't want it. I was so pleasantly surprised at the lifedrive in person, it felt great in the hand, display was beautiful, and there was no 6 second lag. Please anyone let me knoe if the lifedrive can use the treo 650 to connect to the internet. Thanx guys.

hmm... the problem wouldn't be with the LifeDrive, but more likely with the 650. I know the LD connects fine to the 'net via BT, but i heard that some featues of the 650 were disabled. As long as the core connectivity functionality was left operational in the Treo all should be fine. i'll let some Treo 650 gurus answer the question of the BT capabilities (i myself have nearly no interest in Treos, except i think that they're very cool :D)

You might want to ask your wireless phone company. I'm under the impression that some of them are selling phones without all features enbled.

Thanks, I got my answer actually from palmone. They told me that the lifedrive does work with the treo 650, as long as your carrier supports DUN, they asked me who I had I said sprint. They said only unlocked 650's can do DUN. I then mentioned shadowmite's hack, and how I am able to use my treo 650 using his DUN hack with my powerbook, so they told me they don't support hacks, but if it works with my powerbook, it will definitely work with the lifedrive. Thanks for your help guys
