I posted this question earlier as a reply to another issue but didn't get a response...I can't get DTG to sync correctly with my desktop for documents created on my Clie'. The DTG desktop application says the document created on my handheld is missing (ie: it can't find the document on my desktop to sync with the handheld created document). The "help" file clearly states that documents created on a handheld will be synced to the desktop computer. My guess is the DTG desktop isn't recognizing that it should create a document when there's one on the Clie' that isn't on the desktop.

This problem appears to be one-way becasue documents created on my desktop and set-up through the DTG desktop app for syncing show up on my Clie'

Looking at the DTG desktop app preferences doesn't yield any obvious problems. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

What is the HotSync conduit set too?

Synchronize or Desktop overwrites handheld.

Did you save that file? When you write a document on your Handheld, you MUST SAVE the file!!! If you don't, it won't sync. I had that problem once when I deleted the desktop file and expected that file reinstalled from the handheld but that won't work. Check your DTG sync folder....

Yes the files are saved on my Clie'. Checking the DTG SyncData folder all I find is "*.BK2" and "*.BCF" files. When I hotsync, DTG keeps creating new files on my Clie' with slight name changes (abc hours_1, abc hours_2, etc.). If I delete those files from my Clie', they get re-created at the next hotsync.
