I got the last vew months a lot of tips from this amazing forum. - and now I am a rrgistered user :-)
I was searching the web for some days, but I could not find a program, searching for WiFi Acces Points in a loop - and giving me a alarm if a free access point is arround - does anyone know about a tool like this?

I'm assuming because you are posting in this forum you own a UX. I've tried to find a similar program and from what I've found there are no WiFi "sniffer" programs that are compatible with the UX. It has something to do with the Sony's proprietary implementation of WiFi. The only option you have is the is the Scan option which can be acessed in the Wireless LAN setup dialogue acessed through Prefs-> Network -> Service: Wireless LAN. This will tell you what htospots are close by, but not if they're free. Here's a website: http://reviews.cnet.com/4520-6659_7-726628.html that will help you locate a variety of different hot spots in different countries. It seems to be pretty comprehensive. It's not exactly what you're looking for, but if plan ahead you can locate spots in the vicinity of where you are travelling to.
And welcome to the forum! You can find lots of answers to all sorts of questions here. Even ones you didn't ask. :)
