CompUSA just got them in, and I'm probably the first in the city to have it. I've got a sick baby, so my play time with it was minimal, but so far it's been awfully impressive. Yeah, sometimes there's a second delay, but for me it's not even close to a deal-breaker. The screen is fantastically responsive, and the audio is much fuller than my T2. I haven't heard or felt the hard drive at all. It feels good in the hand, despite its size. Fiddling with Wifi a bit, I couldn't log onto my home network, but I had no trouble logging onto two different neighbors' networks. I'll hopefully have my issue resolved today.

Despite starting a load-up at home, I'm going to hard reset the thing now that I'm at work and start all over. 90% of my programs, etc., are at work, and I want to boot this thing up clean and load on the programs.

I'm happy to give any feedback I can for anybody on this, so let me know.

Congratulations ;). btw can you read anything on your LifeDrive in the street? I mean .. outdoors, anywhere under the light of the sun (or the shadow). My T3 is almost unreadable in such conditions so I'd be glad to have some feedback from you. If possible I'd be grateful if you solved some of my pending questions on the LifeDrive:

http://www.1src.com/forums/showthread.php?t=87922

I've read the T5 is better readable outdoors than the T3 and the T|E2's screen is properly watchable in such conditions (much better than the T5), so I hope the LifeDrive, being the latest PalmOne model, is capable of showing things properly outside office and home .. i mean .. in the street or under direct sunlight.

Many many thanks in advance.

Yes. Actually I was just outside a few minutes ago. It does wash out, but not so that it can't be read.

So far, I'm very, very pleased with it. Still loading software, and still trying to get Wifi up and running.

hmm .. ¿Can you compare that to other PalmOne models? .. I mean .. you can read it outdoors, but easily? without having to move the LD until finding the right angle?

I'd like to read sth like "It's definitely easier to read outside than a T3" or sth like that .. (but being a proven experience of a real LifeDrive user, of course ;)).

Thanks in advance,

It seems to be the same as my T2. Not bad, but low light would obviously be better.

I need some help with my wifi connection, so anybody who knows a thing or two about it, please help.

I use Road Runner and their own wifi modem. Works wonderfully with my laptop. My LD can detect the connection, but I can't connect. I can connect easily to my neighbors' wifi on either side of me, but my own shows up with a locked icon and there is no way for me to connect. Any ideas?

The Road Runner technical help was useless. They asked what operating system I was using and I said it was Palm OS. She paused and simply asked the question again.

Little help anyone?

Hey Everyone,

Got my LifeDrive a few hours ago at COMPUSA. Love it!! I own a Clie TH-55 and a memory upgraded T665c. I love both devices but this one is the greatest...
Let you know more as I go.

Hi, I also am in New York and have Road Runner. But I have the LinkSys modem. I just went to "pref" and checked off LinkSys. I then went to the Web app and opened it and I was online. Seems to have worked flawlessly and took all of about 20 seconds.
