Hmm, there are many ripping apps, I use Music Match myself. There is the Cyberlink addon to Windows Media Player(not free).

I Found this through a search:

Try the CDGrab MP3 ripper (search for it on Google) as an alternative to Musicmatch.

DBPowerAmp is another

I've been ripping CDs for several years..... and I've found I like CDDA the best. You can set the priority of the program while ripping. This is a great benefit.

For those PCs which are a little slower, programs like AudioGrabber and whatnot, can produce bad rips of CDs into MP3s if you are 'doing other things' on your PC. You can hear almost like a 'tick' sound in the MP3 where it 'broke concentration' while ripping due to resources allocated to other applications/processes.

CDDA is great when you set the priority. You can surf, and run any apps .....just set the priority 'lower'. If you want to just RIP and not run other programs... set the priority to HIGH and it flies.

CDDA, as well as some other apps out there, reads and converts to MP3 all in one step. There are still several other rippers out there which basically read the .cda files from the Music CD, and convert it to .wav, and then convert the .wav file to .mp3 (2 stage).

Take a good look around... but I still like CDDA the best!!!!!!!! :)
