Hey, I just upgraded to an NZ-90 to replace my aging and slightly damaged NX-70V. I really love it, but I'm having just a few problems that I was hoping to get some help with.

The first is that I have the Sony wireless card for the PDA, and have installed the drivers. But I can't seem to get a connection. I've been using the infrastructure mode, as that is how I set up my home wireless network. I entered the SSID and WEP key, but I can't pick up a connection. The main reason I ask though, is because I plan on moving, and won't have frequent access to a desktop, so wanted to stay connected through my PDA in wireless zones. We have one on my college campus, but I can't get a connection through there either, and I was wondering if I would have to use the Ad-Hoc setting, and how that would work?

My second question is that the camera is great, but when I enter the app, half of my battery mysteriously disappears. Simultaneously, taking pictures significantly drains the apparent battery life even without the flash, and the flash even moreso. But when I leave the app (Or it boots me out due to apparent battery shortage), I have a majority of my battery power returned, minus a significant percent if I have used the flash. I was wondering if this is an error, or if there might be a way to fix this?

And one side thing, is it possible to charge the swappable ion batteries outside of the device, or do I have to insert each one in?

Ad-Hoc setting is just for client to client connection. Looks like you have access point at home so you need to use infrastucture.

For your college usually the administrator has to filter MAC address that can connect to the access point unless anyone with wifi can connect freely. If there is restrictions, you need to get your administrator to include the mac address of your cf wifi card and he needs to give you the WEP key.

Also, another note when you are using WEP key, when you key in into your cf wifi usually it is in ASCII codes and not hex. But i think you can key in hex if needed.

well sony original batteries are all like this. i have one battery that is not original but can last at least 80 flashed photos.....this is the battery without the fast deischarge bug

you need to inset each one in. I have not seen any accessory that can let you charge outside.
