There's a nice skin over at the french site Palmspirit called ZL_No_War. Very simple, but looks nice on my NX...
It's at http://www.palmspirit.com/phpmalogitheque/description.php3?id=490

I'm sorry, it took me a couple seconds, but then I saw the connection between this so-called NO WAR thing being located on a FRENCH website.
It's sad and selfish. Some people just don't appreciate the freedoms their forefathers died for. Very characteristic of the french though.

I agree with you Dave. Peace, what sick, pathetic coward would want that?

Awful lot of animosity towards our oldest ally, after all, before there was Normandy, there was the American Revolution.

What is wrong with you people?! It's a picture of a dove - a peace symbol. And that's "french crap"?
How sad...

They've had a big turnover in management since then.

Nice Skin *downloading*
If you like war so much, why are you not in "somecountryyouneverheardofbefore" and fight a war.
Mankind must set an end to war, before war sets an end to mankind.

Er...
whatever your opinions on the current conflict, I hope most of us want a speedy resolution, and a return to peace? No?
I just like the skin is all; I didn't think posting it would get political...:o

Believe me I want peace too, but I support the current war effort in Iraq to oust humaritarian criminals like Saddam (and his sons) out of power. You will never have peace in a world that allows leaders like them to remain in power. He has had plenty of time to get his act together.
You can only send a child to 'time-out' so many times, then you must take matters further.

Despite your views on the war, it is a very nice looking skin! I'd love to see more skins that go in this direction. So elegant :D
I don't see any reason to attack someone because they make something with a message behind it. I wish more people would put meaning behind what they create. That's something we should all respect, whether we agree or not.

I'm very sad that a post concerning a skin might turn into an insult of other people's beliefs and ways of thinking.
Our thoughts are with the people that are suffering. Every time there is a war - people suffer.
I don't think it's a stupid thing to wish peace, and that there may be no war.
That was our thought with this skin. That's it.

Freedom of speech is limited to the US I guess. Otherwise you wouldn't feel that way about Europeans, only because they have a different oppinion.
Still, it's a nice skin, and what has the fact that a Fench guy did it to do with that???

This skin is called "No War" and it is clearly not meant as an attack agains Americans. It just expresses a personal wish... therefore, I'm extremely disappointed to read such racist and insulting comments. When I posted this skin I had asked for no comments on this theme in order not to pollute the forum with political discussions. If I read such reactions again in the future I regret to say I will not post anymore on ClieSource. And BandiT's skins will stay on Palmspirit where they are appreciated for what they are, without any political sidekicks.
PS: LSAlford; davidrgeorge et Mr Sheen - thanks for your stupidity...

I'm going to make one more political comment, then I will be quiet, I promise!
It's 2003 now, not 1942 anymore. Stop living in the past. Or do you still think all Germans are Nazis? About France. You weren't Nazi-Germany's neighbours, were you? You were safe on the other side of the Atlantic. So please don't try to compare what connot be compared. Bye

Continue posting please as there are the progressive and open minded people here that do appreciate your work and talent. You've contributed much to this community, it would be a shame to lose you.:)

My remark, which I should have kept to myself, was about the name not the skin.

This is a GREAT and well-timed skin.
No more war, no more dead children! Peace forever.
You guys don't imagine how awful it is to see whole cities full of fire and to know that few months ago there was normal life there!
First let me say that HazarD makes some of THE BEST skins available, I have several of them on my Clie, they are truly works of art. I also hope that this thread does not keep HazarD from posting here in the future.
Secondly, I think that coming to a site hosted in America and frequented by mostly Americans and posting a a theme called No War in a time of war where Americans are dieing is clearly asking for trouble.....especially if your country was the biggest opponent of said war. It doesn't make it right but the result should have been obvious.
Lastly, as Georg Christoph Lichtenberg said "Nothing is more conducive to peace of mind than not having any opinions at all."
So I am going to go back to minding my own business now with the hopes that people will stop discussing politics on a PDA message board.
~Regards

I'm just answering on my behalf (Hazard will certainly do it on his own)...

It doesn't make it right but the result should have been obvious. Well, since so many Americans like others are dying in this war, I think a skin called "No War", calling for the hope that this horrible thing might stop as soon as possible... well it's not asking for trouble, but expressing a sincere wish that the suffering might be over.
Secondly, it's not because a country's governments thinks and acts in a certain direction that all nationals of this country agree with it. In my case, I'm against any war because of the suffering involved - for all people: in this case, Americans, British, Iraquis, especially the civil population and the children.

Well, I really do hope you guys will all just enjoy the skins and backgrounds. Peace :D
I agree. I meant no offense with my comment......I myself am a lover not a fighter

Tixx:
A rough translation of Steve's message: "I'm sorry if what I have done has created problems. I simply found this skin truly beautiful (the construction and the sentiment), thus I wanted to share it with the folks here. In the future I will think twice before doing so."
("Please excuse my written French - it is a long time since I wrote anything").
Perhaps I can add one other thought, given that tensions over the war are high. It may be just semantic, but perhaps calling the skin "Peace" (as opposed to "No War") might not have ruffled feathers? Just a thought.
Either way, HazarD, your work is excellent, and, like others, I hope that you will continue.
