Can someone tell me why the new Acrobat Reader for Palm OS 5 does not support Clie NX70V?

Where did you read about an Acrobatreader for OS5?

I haven't seen a version for Palm OS5. Last version was v2.0. If there is a new version out and if it doesn't work on the clie, then it's because the devevloper chose not to make it compatible to the NX clie. The NZ90 comes with Picsel and can view PDF's natively and now there is RepliGo, Docs to Go, and others that can convert PDF's. Adobe's last version was low res and very slow.

I'm running Acrobat v2.0 just fine on my NX70v. It only supports 320x320, and the windows pre-processor seems to get hung up on a lot of Cisco PDF files, but other then that, I've been relatively happy.

I'm also running it out of flash with JackFlash.

I've tried running it out of Flash, but then it won't open my larger (325K) PDFs . . . not sure why

Piscel viewer is far superior to acrobat reader.

I didn't even know they had a hires version. last i checked it was lores.

It is hires compatible, and does a pretty good job displaying it. Slow though.

i use picsel viewer and it's the best i've tried; plus it can view just about anything else (not mpegs though)

Well it still is(lores) and it's slow too! Picsel runs circles around it in HiRes+.
