You should be able to just open clie viewer and select the trash icon, put a check next to the pics you want to delete and click ok.

use a file manager like Filez then to find and delete the file. look for it in the applications section.

mmmm!!! are you talking about Photo Editor or CLIE memo?
The Photo Editor names the file DCS000001.JPG, for example... this name looks more like the CLIE memo image... you cannot delete it on the CLIE viewer, you have to do it on the CLIE memo...

I'm experiencing the same problem on my NX60...but I can't seem to find where the files are stored on the system (or their extension). The Clie Viewer shows the memo files (my daughter has "doodled" about 20 of them!) but they're not accessible from the Clie Memo app from which they were created!

so are the images stuck on the actual clie???? what about a hard reset?

I'm beginning to think that it may be an anomoly. I haven't loaded a lot of third-party software on my Clie; -Vindigo-, WorldMate, Checkbook, MyCar, etc. The lack of response on this thread seems to indicate that there's something "unique" about our systems. A hard-reset may be the only way out, though I dread the thought of "starting over" from my backups....

Clie memo files are stored in the folder below:

/PALM/PROGRAMS/CLIEMemo

Do you see those files with the memory stick removed? Are they in an Album in RAM? If the files(pics-drawings) are gone with the MS removed, then there is no need for a hard reset.

I don't have that directory on the memory stick and the files are still visible with the memory stick removed. I don't see any reference to these files in RAM when using the Clie Files app.

The "Select All" function of the Clie Viewer doesn't work; nothing happens. And any attempt to select an individual file yields the error message posted earlier. It does seem to be a strange and unique behavior...

i tried removing the memory stick and the images still appear in the clie viewer prog. im sure that its not a clie memo.

Crimzonsuicide,

Have you had any success in deleting these images from your Clie Memo? I still haven't been able to identify "where" the files are being stored. The Clie Files program doesn't seem to identify them in RAM.

I've found it! (Actually, my 3 and a half year old daughter did...) Click on the "left arrow" icon in the upper right-hand corner of the Clie Memo app. It will display the files that have been previously stored by the app. From there, (and apparently only there) you can select the trash can and delete the Clie Memo files cluttering up your system. Hope this info helps!
