Hello.
I just bought the LifeDrive and, while I like it, I am running into problems getting it to play Ogg Vorbis with the Pocket Tunes software that it comes with. Every review I read says that it supports it, but I can't get pTunes to even see the files.
Help!
Spencer
Try downloading Pocket-Tunes from www.pocket-tunes.com. Install only the .ogg codec then try again.

I have downloaded the ogg plugin, and it still does not work. Any ideas?

The version of PTunes that comes with the LifeDrive has the core playing features
For everything you need the upgrade:
http://www.pocket-tunes.com/palmone/p1upgrade.html
$25 gets you the full version, which includes: WMA File Support, Play Ogg Vorbis and WAV Files, ...

Well, but an unregistered AreoPlayer plays ogg as well. and wasn't there that freeware player? It wasnt the Magic Lantern...
I think you can also play mp3, ogg, aac and much more other kind of files using tcpmp (which is a free program).
I hope this helps.

Really PalmOne could have been better off cooperating with picard and write a nice GUI for that one (TCPMP), and they wouldn't have to pay pockettunes for it... (Only licensing fees for the codecs -mpeg/aac/mp3).

Go with TCPMP - It's the best damned player out there
