Hi everyone,

I have been trying to look for software to extend the usage of the camera in my TJ37. Unfortunately the softwares that I have found to like functionally - "Fun Cam" and "SpyStillCam" doesn't work on my TJ37. The author of the later software even told me that SONY did not bother to include some camera libraries into the CLIE therefore i will never be able to find a video software of my TJ37. But I am still searching and still hopefull...

Does anyone know of any software that can do any of the following on a TJ37 ??
- Capture video
- Take still picture automatically at a preset interval
- Act as a monitoring camera, which allows the output to be view in another PC remotely connected via WiFi.

Thanks a bunch .... :o

to capture video, you can try out the Palm Movie Maker by dmitry. the Sony Movie Maker from the UX50 will not work on the TJ37 -- i've tried it.

as for the other apps, i can't help you there since i don't know where to look.

Thanks Daver & TJ37.
I'm kinda disappointed with the functionality of the model too.
I once own a T3 for about 1 week and then sold it off to get this model because of the build in WIFI and Camera. It seems I have made the wrong choice.....

I once own a T3 for about 1 week and then sold it off to get this model because of the build in WIFI and Camera. It seems I have made the wrong choice.....you seemed to have the wrong idea of what type of camera is on the TJ37.

when Sony put digicams on their PDAs, they weren't making them part of their Cybercam digital camera series, it was just for times when you're in a rush and need to take down some information (spur of the moments ideas) for business, or just for fun.

granted, built-in wifi is what made me get the TJ37 in the first place (cheaper than a T|E and a Wifi SD card in Canada), but the camera was just an extra feature that i use for fun. the camera isn't the greatst overall, but it's plenty enough for me -- and i usually hate taking pictures.

if you really wanted a camera, you should have gone for an actual digital camera, not on bulit into a PDA...
