Find a way to do it with FilePoint and it's conduit
Buit this is labor intensive as you have to reloate the files to the appropriate folders. I am using myWB for this.
Got an MP3 to pay and a picture to display on the viewer so far...

Yttan,
Activate MSImport on your NZ and it will show your memstick on your PC as an additional drive. You can than move\delete\edit as you would on any other drive on your PC. MSExport is an unneccessary program really, unless you don't like to open multiple windows...

As for the MemstickPro, I ain't buyin til I have a driver on my NZ that allows me to use MSImport.... Better hurry up Sony....

I used MS Import everyday on the palm and the lack of this function right now with the pro sticks is a big problem...

So............... Basically... what I'm hearing (today at least) .... is one of two options for backing up the data on the MS (or copying it to the PC)

1> copy whatever you need from MS to your PDA's internal RAM and try to get it to sync with Hotsync (bad idea ... in my opinion as it may not sync all the files you wish).

2> ensure you have a PRO MS Card Reader (Unsure if there are any out there as of yet, but I would hope there are).

I think, long-term .... and in the long-term, I would think it would be more beneficial to move lots of data using a card-reader, rather than having to transfer it all via the PDA itself. I would think the Pro-Sticks, which can handle much faster rates of Read/Writes than they will be able to in the PDA will make it easier to use a PRO-Stick Reader.

Those Pro Sticks FLY .... and unfortunately I don't believe the NZ's Bus Speed will take advantage of the speed at which the Pro-Sticks can read/write at.

Especially if you are thinking of a 512mb Pro card.... that is a lotta data to move off of a slower PDA BUS to and from your PC. I think I'd recommend getting a $30 or whatnot Pro Card Reader for them. That should be sufficient for mass movement of MP3s and pics... movies any files 1mb or larger.

just my $0.02

Yeah that what i heard from The Sonystyle sales executive that they want to make sure that all 3rd party card reader will not be able to access their pro card as Sony PCMCIA card MS Pro reader will be 8-10 times more expensive than 3rd parties one.

The memory stick card reader is the solution for the time being. I have one on order. However MS import was extremely fast with regular memory sticks. Faster than my old USB memory stick reader. When or if the SW is updated I would like to continue to use it as it allows also not to remove the memory stick from the NZ.

Yeah, my ms pro stick blue screens my Win2k machine when I put it into my reader!!! Sony must have put windows-killer demons in the MS Pro...

sent an angry email to sony about the patch... really dumb..

Wah lau, I cannot wait anymore. I borrowed my frenz's Sony CyberShot F717, insert my 256Mb MS Pro and do all the file transfer, games, mp3, documents, MTVs and watsoever at once.
It can detect in WinXP even without installing the driver.
Now my NZ90 can see all content in my 256Mb MS Pro. Very troublesome. If I have any updates, I will have to borrow from her again.

Hey!! The news info on MS Stick Pro at http://www.css.ap.sony.com did not state that NZ 90 support MS Pro in the device compatibility list. Wat ?????

They are supported.

Take a look at this link. This was from a press release by Sony back in January 2003:
