View Full Version : Bad Pixel!!!

Day 2 and I notice 1 bad pixel dead in the middle of the screen. Loaded a balck picture and noticed it, now I can see it all the time unless the background is white. I know its just one, but I will exchange it this weekend. Just a heads up...

Why not wait it out? I had same thing with my PSP but after a week or 2 it went away ^_^.

EXCHANGE IT! Nobody should pay 500 dollars for something with a defective pixel.

Before you exchange it, can you please perform the different types of resets and answer the dilemma some people have about their questions regarding the memory being erased completely on the hard drive.

Would you really do all that for 1 pixel??? Mine has a pixel which is shown as blue always but it is really small and can only be seen in a black background.

I would, and I did when I bought my Tungsten T. I noticed as soon as a turned it on that it had a dead pixel with a bright red color. I don't know if you can get used to it, but to me back then it was pretty annoying.

I forgot where I read this, but you should try tapping the back of the PDA where the pixel is displayed, I heard this sometimes help make the bad pixel work again.

I once rubbed the pixle with an eraser of a pencle and it started working again

Yes, I will return it Sunday. I know its only one, but yes out of the box at 500.00 you should own a 100% perfect item. Would you take delivery of a brand new car with only one scratch???

Yeah you are right. I think I will return mine when there's another amazing pda that I can exchange it for. I bought a 3-year warranty plan.

with my x50v the VGA pixles are so small that dell has a 3 pixle policy to return it.
