Been having NX for almost 3 months, though, recently, my NX 'sometime' lose the battery power though I turned it off before I carry it around. Afterward It drain all the battery life away. Anyone has the same experience? and how can I fix this? thank you

you might need a new battery. cliebattery.com is supposed to be offering replacement batteries although I don't think they have started selling them yet.

Check to see if any apps are keeping it on. Temporarily kill any automatic alarms or backup utilities.

Probably a silly anwer...But do you use the hold button?? In the past I've left for work made sure that my NX was off before putting it in my pocket only to find that when I got to work the NX was on - but since then I always try to remember to use the hold button on the side to stop this from happening....

Try this:
Make a complete backup. Now hard reset and try the same as every day.
Just leave it one day alone. If it really turns out to be a bad battery try to swap your device at the store. Finally you have a guarantee for it. I think batteries are covered for 6Month at least it is in Germany that way.

Good luck.

I see that cliebattery.com is actually shipping this battery now for 49.00. Any word on a larger (more than 1000 mAh) battery? This site does not have any. Still, not too bad a price with nice directions and included tools to remove NX case.

I have also seen device drain somewhat quickly.

I beleive camera should be fully closed.
Even power off , and I do mean off, with camera in slight click on position, I have seen power drop.

I agree with the "off and hold" post.

SONY Battery memory issues probably not all addressed yet.
Give me more life. I need lit mode.
Some days I play MP3s and no problems.
Others just planning and todo and address, see drain.

I always figure, if its portable, its less than predictable.
Time has proven that.

It's amazing that as small as the battery is, it does a whale of a job, normally.
