Interesting report. I am surprised that he didn't know if it supports WPA security - that probably means it doesn't now, but might later via firmware upgrade.

Since the T-C will now be officially discontinued, one has to wonder if another version of the LD will surface in a few months with a keyboard, or does palmOne assume that the Treo will supplant the C?

He suggested the removable battery would add size and cost. palmOne needs to take a look at the slender WM machines, for which this doesn't seem to be the case. I imagine some senior palm engineer has a real prejudice against removable batteries. There is simply no other explanation as selling a 2nd battery would be an additional revenue stream, the marketing folks would be all over that.

Ummm.. that is definitely wrong! Probably more like a couple million sold TE's or something... :rolleyes:
